About Us

Who We Are

We are a volunteer senior dance team committed to serving our community and supporting US Veterans. This dedicated team practices and performs across SW Florida 300+ days per year.

Each dancer brings the love of dance, dedication to the team, creativity, and passion for the dogs inc organization. We strive to be role models for women of all ages.

Many team members are retired, others continue to work full time.

Our dance routines incorporate music from Broadway, country, rock ‘n roll, and patriotic.

What We Do

We love to dance, perform, bring joy to others, and have fun with our sisters! While we are dancing, we are also raising awareness and funding for our favored charity, dogs inc.

We love to dress up for our themed venue, we’ve been cowgirls, showgirls, pirates, peace lovin’ hippies, beauty queens, bunnies, Hawaiian princesses, biker chicks, do wop dandies, Broadway babes, zombies, Marilyn Monroe, scare crows and reindeer… whatever your theme, we’ll actualize your dream!

The journey began in 2005, when a group of dancers performed for the half-time show of a local basketball team. When the basketball team folded, the dancers evolved to perform for many audiences in SW Florida and raise funds for a special charity. In 2006, the group incorporated as a nonprofit LLC and became the Calendar Girls.

Why We Do It

We dance and entertain to raise awareness and funding for dogs inc This organization trains Guide Dogs for the visually impaired, veterans and children.

We enjoy bringing smiles to our audience and supporting our communities and veterans.
